I added yellow and lavender to my spring wardrobe, two colors I previously rarely wore, but cabi’s spring collection featuring some lovely yellow and lavender pieces that caught my eye and spoke to my heart. I followed the nudge, tossing aside old beliefs, notions that yellow and lavender were not flattering on me, and set my sights on a yellow and lavender mix and match ensemble. And, boy am I happy I did! I receive compliments on every piece I wear!

The yellow capsule consists of cabi’s Fold Pocket Tee and comfy, versatile Utility Trousers. In the photo above, the lavender hue is featured in the Imperial Blazer’s shade “Sugar Gum Geo,” in a structured design. I love how this blazer has a modern, vintage style which “dresses up” the casual tee and trousers.

The Fold Pocket Tee and Utility Trousers pair together for a casual monochromatic look advertising sunshine and spring. This cheerful yellow color elevates my mood, makes me feel happy and confident. Every single time I wear this outfit it puts a smile on my face and on someone else’s when they see it!

The other main color character in the show is a soft lavender hue. Don’t underestimate the power of this delicate, feminine color. It proudly holds its own when paired with the bright yellow, offering a tranquil balance.

The soothing lavender hue of cabi’s sleeveless Cutout Top in shade Aster is a versatile addition to my spring wardrobe. The lightweight body-skimming fabric with cutouts along the neckline creates an upscale look. I love how it elevates the casual Utility Pants creating an outfit that will transition from daytime to evening. The keyhole tie at the back of the Cutout Top is a statement feature!

Throw on the Imperial Blazer and this outfit is sure to make a grand entrance! The asymmetrical close is my favorite feature. Yellow and lavender, two colors I neglected to embrace and now adore. One bold, one soft, yet the two marry together in yin and yang “fashion.”

If you have been following my cabi spring collection journey, you know my number one MUST HAVE are the white denim Trouser Jeans. Pairing the jeans with the lavender Cutout Top and Imperial Blazer created a perfect Mother’s Day Brunch outfit!

You can find all these pieces in cabi’s spring collection! I’ll be back next month with more cabi styles to share with you! You won’t want to miss it!
