Chico’s Mix and Match Makes Summer Traveling a Breeze!

I am notorious for over-packing for vacations!  Next weekend, Big Rich and I are heading out on an extended weekend road trip up the central coast of California to the quaint little town of Cambria for our wedding anniversary.  This is a romantic little spot tucked away on the coast with temperate summer weather and incredible views that go on forever.  Thankfully, in partnering with Chico’s, I have the perfect versatile summer wardrobe I need for our getaway, including the accessories.  Easy breezy!   I am so excited I can fit everything in one suitcase with a little extra room for anything I might purchase along the way.

For my first outfit, I was looking for a summer ensemble that was smart and casual with a splash of chic. Nothing says summer like a tie front shirt!  This cotton chambray tie front is wrinkle free and the roll up sleeves give it a little extra pop of chic! The straight-fit denim crops are flattering and offer just the right amount of stretch for comfort along with a little extra stretch in the waistband.  This makes traveling in the car very comfortable.  I love all things blue, so blue on blue in my eyes is the perfect way to accessorize!  The gorgeous drop earrings are styled with textured, silver-tone beads and blue simulated stones.  I couldn’t resist some more beachy blue and went with this wonderful necklace. Its seed bead tassel, discs, and charms are adorable.  And, then there is the fabulous beaded coil bracelet to seal the deal. A must have is a summer bag with an interior that is roomy enough to carry everything I need without it being too cumbersome. This fun and chic fringed tote can be carried by the handles, or worn as a shoulder or crossbody bag.

A summer outfit wouldn’t be complete without a great pair of sunnies!  I chose these blue sunglasses (on sale!) with a touch of neutral as the tones complement both outfits.  They also offer a pretty little surprise- a printed design on the interior temples.

My second outfit is a bit more upscale offering luxurious pristine casual chic look.  This no-wrinkle striped linen tunic is super comfy with moisture wicking fabric.  I knowww!  Wrinkle free and moisture wicking linen!!  It’s perfect for wine tasting, high tea or dining out. These slim crops are amazingly slimming and flatter my curvy body shape. The fabric is sooo soft! I adore the embellished hem.  A gold-tone link necklace and clip-on chandelier earrings to add the finishing touches.  Of course, the fringe tote accessorizes like a dream!
