Due to my aging, dry, frizzy hair concerns, I found myself defaulting to straightening my hair because finding quality hair products for aging hair to tame the frizz was a challenge. Eventually, I felt bad about repressing my natural waves and stopped ironing my hair and began wearing a more natural look. Yet, I was constantly searching for aging hair products to help me achieve my best natural wavy look.

The collection is free of parabens and dyes and is infused with biotin, known to improve the body’s keratin infrastructure and support strong, healthy hair growth. The Moisturizing Shampoo nourishes while cleansing, and the Moisturizing Conditioner hydrates without the weigh down. The heroes of the collection are the Deep Hydration Mask and Argan Oil Taming Serum. Argan Oil is packed with antioxidants and known to increase hair’s elasticity and restore shine and vibrancy.

The system is easy to use.  Let me explain how to achieve the best results:

Massage the Moisturizing Shampoo into wet hair to create lather and rinse. Work the Moisturizing Conditioner through your hair massaging with your fingers. Rinse thoroughly.

Next, step up the hydration using the Deep Hydration Mask treatment:

  • Apply a quarter-sized amount to the palm of your hands and massage into wet hair. 
  • Leave on for two minutes and rinse. (I clean the rest of my body and shave my legs and underarms during this time)
  •  Use once a week after shampooing.

After towel drying your hair apply the Argan Oil Taming Serum.  

  • Shake before use.
  • Pump 1-2 pumps of the Argan Oil Taming Serum into the palm of your hands and rub between palms to distribute evenly.  
  • Apply to the mid-length and ends of hair.  Run hands through damp or towel-dried hair, making sure to massage evenly onto the tips and where you experience fly-away strands. The serum can be used all over, including the scalp. 
  • Repeat as many times as needed to treat problem areas of your hair. Do not overuse to avoid weighing hair down. 
Rub serum between the palms of your hands before applying to hair.

 I make sure to massage right to the ends of my hair to tackle brittle dryness.

Finish up by styling your hair, your way, with a hair dryer or curling/flattening iron. The serum works well with hot irons. The Argan Oil Taming Serum can also tame frizzy hair when it’s dry, which I LOVE!!!  I lightly smooth the serum over my air-dried hair for a shiny, softer look.

After styling my hair and before heading out the door, I touch up those pesky fly-aways with the best hair smoothing serum.

How effective is the Hair Biology Soft & Hydrated collection? The proof is in the following before and after photo! On the left is my before photo. This is what my hair looks like after I use regular shampoo and conditioner and let my hair air dry. On the right, is the end result, after using the Hair Biology Soft & Hydrated Collection and letting my hair air dry.  In this after photo, I did not add any other products, nor use any ironing or curling tools, just what is in Hair Biology’s Soft & Hydrated collection. As I mentioned before, the hero products in finishing off this natural look are the Hydrating Mask and Argan Oil Taming Serum. 

The results are evident in this before and after photo. In the after photo, my air-dried hair is much softer and smoother.

  11. This is Big Rich. I love this posting. As Barbie’s husband I get to observe the transitions as Barbie works with a product and I must say her hair is loving “hair-biology”! She has included a great side by side showing a before and after, and based on my touch meter using “hair-biology” makes a difference in the feel and texture of that wonderful mop of blond locks!!!!! I would try it myself but I am afraid I am as bald as an egg so it wont do me any good! I guess I am Big Bald Rich!
